Struggling with your
mental health? We can help!

Our
Mission

At U.S. Family Care Psychiatry, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate mental health and substance abuse treatment across Kentucky. Our mission is to empower individuals and families through innovative, evidence-based practices, fostering hope and healing in a supportive and inclusive environment.

We strive to enhance the well-being of our community by delivering personalized care and promoting mental health awareness and education.

Our Philosophy

Our treatment philosophy is grounded in the belief that every person deserves respectful, individualized care. We emphasize a holistic approach, addressing the mind, body, and spirit to achieve sustainable wellness. We collaborate closely with patients and their families to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapy, medication management, and lifestyle changes. We are committed to ongoing education and research to ensure our practices reflect the latest advancements in the field.

Mental health and substance abuse affect a person emotionally, mentally, psychologically, intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually and affects lives in all areas-family, occupation, values, education, environment, recreation, and behavior.

We strive to assist people in returning to functioning on an independent basis through abstinence and a combination of therapies; educational, group therapy, family education, marital therapy, and 12 Step based community services. These will empower the client to become aware of the reality of the factors and the feelings associated with his/her illness.

Our Services

Medication
Management

Our board-certified nurse practitioners are available for patients of all age groups seeking mental health services and medication management. These providers assess, diagnose, prescribe medications, and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals suffering from a wide variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, bipolar, and more. Focusing on biological and psychological aspects of care, our providers use their psychiatric expertise and skills in medication management to support and empower individuals on their journey to achieve long-term healing and recovery.

Adult and Adolescent (IOP) Intensive Outpatient Programs
via in-person or Telehealth

IOP is a structured treatment program that provides mental health support for individuals who need more intensive care than traditional outpatient therapy but do not require 24-hour supervision. Adult group is currently in-person 3 hours per day from 9a-12p Mon-Fri. Adolescent group will be 5:30p-8:30p on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays via telehealth. Medication management may also be part of the program. IOP aims to help patients develop coping skills, manage symptoms, and prevent relapse. This allows patients to maintain their daily routines, such as work or school, while receiving treatment.

Adult (PHP) Partial Hospitalization
Program via in-person or Telehealth

PHP is a more intensive level of care than IOP but less restrictive than inpatient hospitalization. Adult therapy is 4 hours per day from 9a-1p Mon-Fri (via in-person or Telehealth). PHP provides comprehensive mental health services, including medication management, while allowing patients to be home at night. PHP is often used as a step-down from inpatient care or as a step-up from IOP, helping patients transition back to their daily lives. These groups may include psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and expressive therapy. If you are admitted to our PHP program, you will be evaluated by a licensed psychiatric practitioner periodically during your treatment and will receive medication management services.
